TAX AND DUTIES (OUTSIDE THE EU):

At BAREBOUND, we ship internationally with the goal of making your order experience smooth and transparent. Please read the following information carefully if you are ordering from outside the European Union (EU).

International Orders (Outside the EU):
Orders shipped outside the EU are subject to local import taxes, duties, and handling fees, unless otherwise stated. These charges are the responsibility of the customer and are not included in the product or shipping prices shown at checkout.

The amount of duties and taxes depends on:
-Your country’s regulations
-The value and type of the goods
-Whether your country applies a “de minimis” (minimum value for duty-free imports)

United States:
With Express Shipping USA – Duties & Taxes Included (DDP) no charges will be applied to at the time of delivery.

Canada:
-Orders above CAD $20 may be subject to GST (5%) and import duties.
-Additional handling fees may be charged by the shipping carrier (e.g., DHL, FedEx).
-Footwear and apparel typically carry import duty unless exempted under specific trade agreements.

Australia:
-Orders under AUD $1,000 are generally duty-free.
-Orders exceeding AUD $1,000 may incur:
-5% import duty
-10% Goods & Services Tax (GST) calculated on the product value, shipping, and insurance.
-These charges are collected by Australian Customs.

United Kingdom:

Orders shipped from Portugal to the United Kingdom may be subject to UK VAT (Value Added Tax) and handling fees upon arrival. These charges are the responsibility of the customer and are not included in the product or shipping prices shown at checkout, unless otherwise stated.

For orders above £135, if Express Shipping UK – Duties & Taxes Included (DDP) is selected, no additional charges will apply upon delivery.

 

Norway:

Orders shipped to Norway may be subject to 25% VAT, customs duties, and carrier handling fees upon delivery. These charges are not included at checkout and are the responsibility of the customer.

Who collects the taxes and duties?
These charges are usually collected by the carrier (DHL, FedEx, UPS, local postal service) before or upon delivery.
BAREBOUND is not responsible for these additional costs, and they are not refundable if you return your order.
