Exchanges, Returns and Refunds:
Exchanges: We have a 14-day return/exchange policy, which means you have 14 days after receiving your item to request a return. To be eligible for an exchange, your item must be in its original condition and packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

The returned item must be shipped back within a maximum of 14 days from the date of delivery.
If we do not receive shipping confirmation within this period, we reserve the right to refuse the return/exchange or decline the delivery.
Want to make a return?
At BAREBOUND, our main goal is your total satisfaction. Purchasing decisions are easy, quick and totally transparent. However, if you are not satisfied, you can request an exchange or return of the products within 14 days of receiving the order. To do this you must:
Step 1: Send an email with "RETURN or EXCHANGE" in the subject line to hello@barebound.pt stating your intention to exchange or return the product(s) and providing the following information:
- Order number
- The reference or name of the product you wish to exchange or return
*The reason why you want to exchange or return the product
*Photograph of the product if it is damaged
Our customer support team will send you instructions via email after receiving your return/exchange request.
Step 2: Send your clean and undamaged item(s) back to us in the original packaging. All returns/exchanges must be made as they were received: with the box/envelope, cards and all the accessories inherent to the order.
Step 3: Once your return is received, inspected and approved, a credit will automatically be applied to your original method of payment. Please note that it may take some time to receive your refund. Shipping costs for return are paid by the customer.
In the case of an exchange, the customer is responsible for the collection fee for the product to be exchanged, but the new item will be shipped free of charge.
Refunds: We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund is approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 working days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.
What are the return or exchange costs?
The customer has 14 days to return/exchange an order.
We organize the pickup and send you the shipping label. All you need to do is drop off the pair at a UPS/CTT collection point and we will take care of the rest (the cost of collection is paid by the customer). In the case of an exchange, the customer pays the collection fee and the new pair will be shipped free of charge. In the case of a return, we will refund the full amount of the product minus the cost of collection.

How does the return/exchange process start?
Once we have sent you an email confirming your request for an exchange or return, you will be presented with options depending on the outcome of our analysis of your request. It is very important that you wait for our e-mail with the return details and keep the product(s) in the same condition as received in order to return them. We only accept returns with our consent and in accordance with the emails informing us of the return. You should never send your order back without our authorization, as we will not be held responsible for its non-arrival.
How long does it take to process a return?
Once received by us, your return request will be processed within a maximum of 10 working days.
How long does it take to process a refund?
If the customer wishes to return a product, BAREBOUND undertakes to refund the value of the product, depending on the payment method used by the Customer, within a maximum of 10 working days of receiving the item at our address.
NOTE:
-You must not send your return without our authorization, and we will not be held responsible for any failure to receive it.
-You may freely terminate the contract for the purchase of the products without any compensation being payable within 14 days of taking physical possession of the goods. In this case, you will be reimbursed for the amount paid for the products ordered.
-In any case, returns will only be accepted for items that are without any trace of use/alteration, in perfect original condition and accompanied by all the accessories that make them up. It is the Customer's responsibility to properly package the items to be returned. We do not exchange used or unsealed products or items in poor condition.
International Shipping:
International Orders and Duties: If you are ordering from outside of the EU you may have to pay import tax and duty charges.
You may be asked to pay these once your order arrives in the delivery country.
*NOTE: BAREBOUND are not liable for any import tax or duty charges issued by your country's national import office. Such charges are issued to the recipient and are not controlled by us in any way.
Import taxes and taxes vary from country to country and they depend on the value of your order. If in doubt please consult your country's governmental or national import office website for further information.
Order Changes and Cancellations:
Change Requests: If you wish to change the shipping address or any other order details, please contact our customer support team on hello@barebound.pt as soon as possible.
Cancellation: You can cancel your order and receive a full refund before the shipping process begins or while the order has not yet been shipped. If it has been shipped, you will have to follow the returns process.
We encourage you to consolidate orders to reduce environmental impact.
