The Hidden Link Between Feet and Breathing
Most people think breathing starts in the lungs.
It doesn’t.
It starts at the ground.
Your body works as one system.
Feet → posture → ribcage → breath.
When your feet are weak or inactive (years in tight, cushioned shoes), your body starts to compensate.
Your posture shifts.
Your ribcage moves out of position.
Your breathing becomes shorter, higher, less natural.
You don’t really notice it.
But your body feels it.
Now flip it.
When your feet are active and grounded: Your body stacks better. Your posture feels more natural. Your diaphragm can actually do its job.
And your breathing slows down… without you trying.
Most people try to fix breathing with techniques.
But you can’t breathe well in a body that isn’t stable.
Sometimes the problem isn’t your breath.
It’s what’s underneath it.
